Biography

Shidoshi Drucker has been studying Martial Arts since 1965. His Judo Black belt was recieved in 1970 by his instructor and Legendary Judo Master Professor Takahiko Ishikawa. His 45 plus years of experience includes training in Judo, Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, and Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan, as well as Bujinkan and Myofu An Budo Taijutsu.He is a third generation Licensed Massage Therapist and Holistic Health Practiciner. He is a student of Anma Master Shogu Mochizuchi, continually refining his skill in the Traditional Art of Japanese Massage. Mr. Drucker has studied Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan since 1975 and is considered a Master Teacher of Tai Chi Chuan. Shidoshi Drucker has been licensed to teach Bujinkan Ninpo Taijutsu having recieved his Godan from Grandmaster Hatsumi personally, as well as Myofu An Budo Taijutsu. Shidoshi Drucker is one of only three instructors in the United States that are considered Deshi or personal students of Master Koryu Muramatsu and member of Myofu An Society of Japan.This broad background in a variety of Martial Arts combined with a critical eye toward the practical applications of Martial Arts techniques in real world situations ensure the students at Myofu Dojo something that many promise but cannot produce, high quality training in authentic Budo Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, and Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan.

-- 1964 - Began training in Kodokan Judo / Jujutsu under Professor Takahiko Ishikawa 8th Dan.
Professor Ishikawa was the first Japanese instructor to teach in the United States. A student of Kyuzo Mifune who was the head instructor at the Kodokan under Kano Jigoro the founder of Judo.

-- 1970 Received Shodan / Black Belt from Professor Ishikawa
-- 1971 Entered United States Submarine Service

-- 1975 Started training in Northern Shaolin Kung Fu with Master Chin Bing Cheung. Master Chins lineage can be traced directly back through his teacher Kwok Wei Chan in Brazil to Yim Sam Wu the only student of the legendary Bak Sil Lum Master Ku Yu Cheung. (Gu Ye Chang)
 

-- 1977 Began his professional carrier as a full contact fighter. PKA record 7-2, ISKBA record 2-0
-- 1983 Moved to Meriden Connecticut and opened first school Oriental Fighting Arts
-- 1984 Hosted the first Stephen Hayes "The Godfather of American Ninjutsu", seminar in the Northeast United States at his school.
-- 1985 Member of the Hard Hits Black Belt Bodyguard personal security services
-- 1986 Started training in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu with several area instructors including Greg Kowalski and Japanese Shihan visiting the United States along with Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi founder of the Bujinkan.

-- 1990 Through introductions in Japan was accepted as Deshi, Personal Student of Koryu Muramatsu Senior Shihan of Hatsumi Soke and founder of Kobudo Kenkyu Kai of Myofu An Society.

-- 1995 Received Master Instructor Teaching Certificate Godan / 5th Degree Black Belt from Soke Hatsumi
-- 2006 Received 5th Degree Black Belt in Kobujutsu from Sensei Koryu Muramatsu
-- 2008 Awarded 9th Degree Black Belt from the International Jujutsu Federation in acknowledgement of 44 years of training in Nihon Kobudo Jujutsu.

This is one of the last pictures taken with Sensei Drucker and O'Sensei Phil Porter 10th Dan in Kodakan the Head Coach of the American Olympic Judo Team. Professor Porter personally recemmended Sensei Drucker for induction into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame but out of deference and respect for Professor Ishikawa who was ailing in Japan declined.

Today Master Drucker is one of the most senior instructors of traditional Japanese Kobudo (Old Style Warrior Arts) outside of Japan. He has been teaching grappling arts at his school in Milford, NH for over 15 years. His coaching has produced some of the top fighters in New England including several MMA Champions. Myofu An Dojo had the first training cage in New England and continues to draw fighters from all over the area seeking advanced training in Mixed Martial Arts. He has cornered, coached and advised a who's who of MMA Veterans and Champions. Master Drucker has been sanctioned by the New Hampshire Boxing Commission as a referee for Mixed Martial Arts and has over 5 years working at Regional MMA Events in that capacity.
